Red Temples write together as a group, and the songs come out of everyday stories, dark humour and, by their own account, some dubious life choices. Rock, soul, blues and reggae fold into something that sounds familiar the first time you hear it without sounding like anyone else. Five pieces, and the live shows have a spirit to them that studio recordings rarely catch.
