Reg

Reg spent 22 years in the Australian Army, most of it in the SAS after passing its selection course. He was deployed on operations to Rwanda, to East Timor, and to Iraq, and commanded everything from small teams up to units of 300, with Egyptian, British and American soldiers among them. No Australian reached Rwanda ahead of him after the 1994 genocide, and Rwandan soldiers held him at gunpoint while he was there. The US Bronze Star Medal followed for his leadership during the 2003 Iraq War. Since then he's advised the UN in New York, NSW Police during the Sydney Olympics, Olympic and World Championship teams, and the International Criminal Court, and he chairs and fundraises for charity. The talks he offers are titled Leading in Adversity, Decision Making Under Pressure, Elite Team Performance, The Energy of Giving, and one on thriving with PTSD.
