Riki Putra finished a musical education in Los Angeles in 2015, then went back to Indonesia and started building concerts that put traditional gamelan alongside orchestral and contemporary music. That combination got noticed. It led to stadium closing ceremonies, television programs, fashion shows and music festivals. In 2022 Riki moved to Queensland and has been performing steadily across venues and events since. Based at Birkdale in Brisbane's bayside, and offered as a musical soloist.
