RiverShed are a six piece from the Gold Coast working the country, rock and pop crossover. Singer-songwriter Samantha Mooney fronts them, and her voice is what shapes the set, which swings between boot-stomping anthems and quieter, more introspective ballads. Harmonies are a big part of the sound. Guitarist Michael "Mikky" Whalan appeared on the ABC documentary Headliners. They take the show to weddings, corporate events and function rooms, and they're built for the part of the night when people want to be on their feet.
