Rock'n'Roll Bandstand runs as a show rather than a band on a riser, with dance choreography worked in alongside the playing. The material comes from Buddy Holly, Elvis Presley, Bill Haley and the Comets, Dusty Springfield and their contemporaries, which means jiving riffs and songs most rooms already know the words to.
