Acoustic folk rock with blues underneath it, built out of loops, stomp box and a pile of effects pedals. Ronny Croker works out of Mackay and the reference points give you the texture straight away: Jack Johnson, Xavier Rudd, John Butler Trio and Dope Lemon at the mellow end, then Creedence, Bob Seger, Jimi Hendrix, The Doors and Fleetwood Mac when it turns up. There's Bob Marley in there too, plus Rodriguez, JJ Cale and Ben Harper. It's one performer chasing a bigger live sound than a single guitar usually gives you. Suits pubs, and takes wedding bookings as well.
