About this act
Rood presents giant kangaroo characters on bouncing stilts. Their movement can take them high above the ground, while the personalities mix outback humour with a punk edge. Since beginning in 2002, the act has appeared at festivals around Australia and overseas, including Glastonbury and WOMADelaide. The physical costume design makes the hopping central to the performance.
