Roomates
About this act
Roomates came out of a Wollongong garage and describe themselves as the new wave of pub rock, which is fair enough. The influences run from Cold Chisel and Thirsty Merc through blink-182 and Catfish and the Bottlemen, plus, by their own account, their mums. What comes out is nostalgic Australiana crossed with indie pop and pub rock, and the hooks stick. Their debut EP USELESS POEMS is out, with more music coming in 2026.
