RUKI

RUKI are Kiri and Andrew, based between Sydney and the Central Coast and playing across New South Wales. Kiri grew up on the Central Coast in a family of professional musicians who have worked with many of Australia's leading artists and on stages overseas, and she leads on vocals with a percussion pad adding drive underneath. Andrew, from Sydney's Northern Beaches, has played guitar since childhood and switches between acoustic and electric to suit the venue. The two met through playing music together and it grew into both a partnership and a working duo. The repertoire mixes pub classics and nostalgic favourites with modern pop and some genuinely unexpected choices, and the sound is fuller than a duo usually manages. Pubs, bars, private events, weddings and corporate functions.
