Sahara Dance Company

Middle Eastern and folkloric dance make up the core of Sahara Dance Company, the Queensland Bellydance Academy's professional performing troupe. Shows range from solo pieces to ensembles of up to ten dancers, using veils, swords and candelabras to build performances inspired by Egypt, Persia and the Mediterranean. The repertoire includes a 1001 Arabian Nights program alongside Bollywood and latin fusion pieces, with packages built for weddings, corporate events and cultural festivals, and options for a floor show, a roving performance or a dance workshop.
