Salty Jez plays a loose mix of rock and roll, blues and reggae, 60s through to now, and he reads the room before deciding which way to lean. Background ambience or something louder, depending on what the night needs. The loop pedal is the trick: combined with a modulation pedal and some beatboxing, one person sounds like considerably more than one person. A long stretch working in hospitality wore him out on hearing identical versions of identical songs night after night, so he puts his own spin on the familiar ones and throws in a few nobody's heard flogged to death.
