Sam Gogia

Sam Gogia sings from behind a piano, sometimes picks up a guitar, and fills out the sound with backing tracks. Five years of live work, and it started in restaurants and bars. He says the hook was watching people react to a song they'd been waiting to hear. The repertoire stretches a long way back and a long way forward: Sinatra, Dean Martin and Elvis at one end, then Billy Joel, Elton John, Queen and Pink Floyd, through to Ed Sheeran and Coldplay. The Beatles sit somewhere near the middle of it. Gold Coast based, and suited to anything from a quiet dinner service to a room that wants to sing along.
