Sam Kekovich

Football gave way to broadcasting for Sam Kekovich, whose playing career with North Melbourne and Collingwood ran past a decade and included a Premiership with North Melbourne in 1975, a Club Best and Fairest, more than 150 games and selection for Victoria. Fiery exchanges with coach Ron Barassi became part of the story along the way. Media work followed: a regular panel seat on the Sunday Footy Show, a Melbourne breakfast radio shift, television hosting and a stint as CEO of Geelong's K Rock. He later became the public face of lamb advertising for the Meat & Livestock Association. His talks lean on humour and the characters he's met through football and beyond, and past clients include Telstra, Ford and Qantas. He's based in Melbourne and travels nationally.
