About this act
Sam has been drawing caricatures professionally since 2012, at corporate gigs, weddings, awards nights, birthdays and product launches. He arrives fifteen minutes early, finds his spot, and then draws for the whole booking, roughly one face every five minutes. Guests keep their drawing. He tells jokes while he works, mostly to settle people who've never sat for a portrait before, and the style leans warm rather than cruel unless someone specifically asks for the sharper version. He works roaming or from a fixed spot, and he's self contained. All he needs is a dry patch with decent light, ideally not right beside the speakers. Holds a Working with Children Check. Minimum two hour booking, and November and December fill up early.
