Sanfona

A Melbourne band playing French and jazz styles, with original arrangements and compositions drawn from European players. Sanfona mix gypsy jazz, bebop, funk and contemporary jazz, which lets them push a room along or settle it right down. They've been featured on Global Village on 3PBS, Bent Notes on Joy FM and Swing'n'Sway on 3CR, and played the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show, the Lilydale festival, Wangaratta Jazz Festival, Phillip Island Jazz Festival, 1806 Bar and Bar 303. A regional Victorian tour of four concerts is booked for 2026. If a Parisian jazz club is the atmosphere you're after, this is close to it.
