Savidas

Savidas is a solo project first, but it doesn't stay that way. On bigger nights it expands into a full band with Katie Richards on vocals and guitar, Uma Vernau on vocals and percussion, and Ollie Van Ballegooyen on drums, and the live show gets a lot louder for it. Solo, duo or the whole band, the material draws on classic rock, country rock, blues, bluegrass, folk, funk, reggae and flamenco, plus 60s through 90s covers. That mix suits a Cairns wedding well: acoustic and warm for the ceremony and dinner, then a proper band once the dancing starts.
