Four women, four instruments, and a pile of stories from a long way back. Scarlett Road bring together Brenda Kelly on guitar, ukulele and lead vocals, Anne Marie Lawton on double bass and lead vocals, Gabrielle Kerr on fiddle and backing vocals, and Helen Matheson on banjo and backing vocals. Each of them came up through a different corner of music, and the mix lands somewhere between celtic, bluegrass, country, folk and old time, with originals in the set alongside Blue Moon of Kentucky, Wagon Wheel, Poor Ned and I'll Fly Away. Good for folk and country festivals, themed events, weddings, corporate nights and music clubs. Brisbane based. They'll play into a house PA or bring full sound.
