Scatter Light are hard to pin to one genre, and that seems deliberate. Ollie Williams on guitar and vocals and James Schubert on drums and vocals write and record everything, then take it out as a four piece live. The music is groove based and keeps shifting flavour so nothing gets stale, but underneath the chaos there are strong vocal melodies and guitar lines with a pop rock sensibility holding it together. Sydney based, with a live show powerful enough to fill a decent sized room.
