Scott Griffiths

Scott Griffiths won first prize in the ABC Concerto Competition in 1982, then switched to jazz, taking third prize at the Wangaratta Jazz Competition in 1990 and an ARIA nomination for Allan Browne's album Bird Calls in 1994. He's recorded with James Reyne and Daryl Braithwaite, including the piano on the number one single The Horses. His own band toxtwo has released three albums, and his song The Lighthouse was performed at the opening of the Victorian Bali Memorial in 2005. He toured with Glenn Hughes of Deep Purple in 2009 and Christine Anu in 2012 on electric guitar. He also teaches piano, guitar and both projection and microphone singing.
