Secret Solis move from reflective down tempo pieces to music that gets a room stamping, and the shift happens inside the same set. Live instruments sit against electronic elements, pulling in indie, trip hop, trance and world music, with influences running from Massive Attack and Zero 7 through to Trent Reznor and A Perfect Circle. The result somehow feels new and familiar at once. James Sanger, who has worked with U2, The Cure and Sinead O'Connor, called out the warmth and richness of their vocal harmonies.
