SeFu

Two decades and more of touring have carried Sefu well beyond his home turf: dates across Sydney, Perth, Darwin, Hobart and the country towns in between, plus international bookings that have reached as far as Los Angeles and New York. The career began early, playing house parties at fourteen and booking club gigs only two years later, before he joined the RNB Superclub crew during the mixed CD boom of the early 2000s. Releases on major labels, both Warner and Sony among them, went on to reach multi-platinum status, a rare mark for an Australian DJ. Sefu also built a name as one of the country's earlier open-format DJs, weaving together hip hop, house, Jersey club, K-pop, baile funk and Afrobeats within a single set. That same drive has carried into production, with well over a hundred and thirty edits released on SoundCloud and picked up by other DJs worldwide.
