About this act
Tribal fusion belly dance, fire and silk, from a Byron Bay group who build each show around sharp choreography rather than loose improvisation. Fire props run to fans, swords, palms and staff. Silk fans and veils bring the colour, and contortion-inspired movement gets folded into the dance. There's a violinist who also dances, and stilt walking for events that need height and visibility. Packages run from a ten to fifteen minute indoor set for ceremonies through to a full festival stage show. Fire work needs venue or council approval and clearance from the crowd. Safety gear and a spotter come with the act, and the dancers carry their own insurance.
