About this act
Two founding members of Melbourne rock'n'roll band The Speedsters stepped away to work as a duo, and SHAKE-2 is the result. Vocal harmonies are the thing they do best, and the sets run through rock'n'roll, rockabilly, a bit of swing, country and country rock. They read the dance floor and change the set to suit it. Between sets there's DJ music, pitched at whoever's in the room, so a family event doesn't get anything awkward. Setup is genuinely small, roughly two and a half square metres and a power point. Good for a crowd of any age that wants to dance.
