Shani Graham

Shani Graham speaks from a background in education, holding a Bachelor's degree in Special Education and a Master's in Educational Management alongside experience working in schools as a special education teacher, consultant and school principal. She has given two TEDxPerth talks on geographic community, and co-founded The Painted Fish in 2006, a small sustainability-focused B&B in South Fremantle, before helping build Ecoburbia, an infill development and urban farm in Beaconsfield. Along the way she coordinated the Hulbert Street Sustainability Fiesta and ran the Living Smart program. Her talks draw on this mix of education, small business and sustainable living rather than one single theme, delivered in a style built on decades of standing in front of a classroom or an audience.
