Shannon Jade

Shannon Jade is a Melbourne poet, singer-songwriter and environmental scientist, and all three show up in the music. She writes acoustic folk songs built around piano, about hope, nature and love. The recordings are deliberately lo-fi. That's a choice, not a shortfall: she wants the human flaws that make art feel real to survive into the finished song, and she wants the lyrics out in front where you can hear them. Honest writing, plainly delivered.
