Shanwa started on Technics 1210s in the UK in the early 2000s, collecting vinyl and chasing underground records, then came back to Perth and raised a family. She is behind the decks again now in digital form, and over the past two years she has become a regular in Perth's underground scene: Bioma events, Blossom, Blazing Swan, Pachamama's Disconnect to Reconnect, Earthdance, and AAE at Port Beach where she opened for MOS. Progressive and melodic house and techno mostly, with some tech house. A huge library and a real instinct for the room.
