Shark & Wine is an acoustic guitar and singer duo from Brisbane, Queensland.
Elissa, known on stage as "Shark," sings, and Zak, or "Wine," plays guitar; both are conservatorium trained and have worked together as a duo since 2012. The pair's repertoire runs from jazz and easy listening through to pop and dance, giving the act a genuine spread rather than a single fixed mood. Performances have taken the duo well beyond Brisbane, including an appearance on City Radio in New York. Closer to home, venue credits include Alchemy Restaurant, Grape Therapy, The Twig & Berry and The Brooklyn Standard. That mix of formal training and years on the local circuit shows in a set that can hold a small, quiet room or a much bigger one.
