Shaun Baxter

Shaun Baxter sings soul into everything, whether it's classic rock or something off the charts this year. He studied jazz, and it shows in the guitar work: layered loops that build a scene rather than just filling a gap. He reads a room properly, so he can sit back as background or step forward and be the act you're watching, depending on what the night needs. He also writes and records his own material. His folk and alt-country leaning EP, Time Has No Place, picked up community radio play around Australia. Sydney based, and comfortable across pubs, weddings and corporate work.
