Shelley Dunstone

Shelley Dunstone's keynote is called Stage Your Own Show, and it's about achieving audacious goals in the face of adversity. The story behind it is her own. She was a hobby singer who loved Bossa Nova, had never been to Brazil, knew nobody there and didn't speak the language. Then she decided to perform her favourite Brazilian songs in the city that produced them. Three years later she was on stage in Rio with new Brazilian friends. It's a quirky, funny, uplifting way into a serious point about taking initiative now rather than later. Adelaide based, and she works as an opener or a closer for conferences. She'll need a microphone, a laptop and a data projector for slides.
