Simon Caldwell has been DJing since the early 1990s and has spent all of it dodging the style label most DJs end up stuck inside. Deep soulful house, techno, funk, jazz, electro, booty and hip hop all get played, along with whatever else has caught his ear. He's supported a very long list of artists, has presented Monday Sunset on FBi Radio for more than fifteen years, and runs Mad Racket, a Sydney underground party that has been going since 1998. That is a genuine institution rather than a residency.
