Newcastle solo and duo work with R&B, soul and hip hop underneath it. Sione writes original songs and plays covers, and the covers lean the same way the originals do: Stevie Wonder, John Legend, Frank Ocean, Amy Winehouse, a bit of Bob Marley and INXS when the room wants something familiar. Weddings and private events are the main game, though the door stays open to other bookings. The set up is genuinely simple. A power point and a stool.
