A Colombian DJ and record collector living in Sydney, Senor Bolivar digs into his own musical roots and rebuilds them for a dance floor. Afro-Latin rhythms, cumbia, disco, funk and world electronic sounds all move through the sets, and the effect on a room is immediate. He co-founded Discoteca Tropical and plays regularly around Sydney at JAM Record Bar, Caterpillar and Alcatraz, among others. Worth booking if you want something with real rhythmic depth rather than the usual club run.
