Sirens Dance

Bollywood dance in Sydney, with a schools programme sitting alongside the performance work. Sirens Dance runs a workshop called Bollywood and Beyond for students aged 5 to 18, mixing live dance with a teaching segment on Indian geography and tradition, then a hands-on session where the class learns the moves. Artistic Director Ramona Lobo leads the troupe, and the choreography pulls Latin, African and Western movement into classical Indian dance. That fusion has put them on So You Think You Can Dance and Dance Boss. Multicultural Day is the obvious booking, though the same show works at any event wanting colour and movement.
