About this act
Slice is a 4 piece party band with Kurt Carrera on lead vocals and guitar, David Valli on guitar and vocals, Ash Smithers covering keys, bass and vocals, and Mark Beasy on drums. The line-up puts three singers across the front of a rhythm section, giving the group room for harmonies as well as lead changes. Its repertoire is centred on funk and familiar party songs for weddings, corporate events and private celebrations. Four musicians keep the band compact while still providing live drums, guitars, keys and bass across the set.
