Four musicians out of Shepparton with a solid rock backbone. SMAC play the clubs and pubs of northern Victoria, and they turn up for weddings and corporate nights just as readily. The set roams across decades, from 60s and 70s material through 80s and 90s hits into Top 40, with a healthy serve of Aussie rock along the way. They're a dance band at heart. Energy is the point, and they push the room towards it rather than waiting for the room to warm up on its own. If you want a function band that can hold a floor for a full night without switching into background mode, this is the sort of act that does it.
