About this act
Alex and Carl are the two halves of this Adelaide jazz duo, and they've built the act around a simple idea: music that lifts a room without taking it over. The repertoire moves between well-known standards and jazz-flavoured readings of songs people already know. Body and Soul, Misty and Summertime sit alongside Eleanor Rigby, Isn't She Lovely and Light My Fire. Guitar-led and instrumental, so conversation still works. All they need is a small flat space to set up. Good fit for a venue that wants atmosphere through the evening, or a function where the entertainment is meant to support the occasion rather than become it.
