Social Strangers are a four-piece alternative rock band out of Gadigal Land with a powerhouse female vocalist out front, heavy bass and guitar riffs doing serious damage behind her. Grunge, punk, post-grunge, emo rock and nu metal all feed in, so the sound is recognisable without being a copy of anything. Live is the point. They play like they mean it, and the room stays wound up well after the last note.
