Five jazz students playing soul and R&B, and playing it for the right reasons. Solmaye chase the things that make the genre what it is: melodic vocal runs, lush harmonies, and sax solos that stay smooth rather than showing off. Based in St Kilda. Properly musical, and a nice change from a straight covers band.
