Sophie Serafino

Violinist, singer and composer Sophie Serafino began violin lessons at three, added dance training at ten and started writing original music at sixteen, later completing a Bachelor of Music Performance at the Sydney Conservatorium. The act mixes classical repertoire, such as Ravel's Bolero and Gershwin's Summertime, with original songs and a broader style pulling in rock, dance and Middle Eastern influence. Performances have taken in more than four hundred concerts across Sydney, Melbourne, London, Paris, Istanbul, Dubai and Tokyo. Serafino has also worked as a session musician for EMI and Warner Music artists, and performs with backing tracks, unaccompanied or with a live band.
