Soul Rangers

Vintage blues and soul, played by two people who sound like more. Soul Rangers are Lennie and Chris, a Melbourne duo working the late 60s and early 70s: two-part harmonies, acoustic and electric guitar and percussion, with live looping used to lay rhythm tracks underneath, so a two-person act ends up with a full, danceable groove rather than a thin one. Classic singalongs make up most of the repertoire. For a bigger sound the pair add a saxophone or piano player and run as a trio. And when the night needs to turn into a party, DJ Soul Rangers take over the decks, mixing classic cuts with modern beats. The act can be booked as an acoustic soloist, the duo, a trio, or a trio and DJ combination for one continuous night.
