Soultown

Soultown is an eight piece tribute to the soul and Motown catalogue, playing the Motown and Stax/Atlantic songbooks the way they were cut. Lead and backing vocals, keys, guitar, bass, drums and a horn section, with the players dressed in period style and full sound and lighting behind them. Expect Aretha Franklin, James Brown, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Otis Redding, Wilson Pickett, The Temptations and Martha and The Vandellas. Dancin' in the Street and Shake Your Tail-feather for the floor, Let's Get It On when things slow down. The band works ticketed shows as well as corporate and private events around South-East Queensland, and it plays just as well in clubs, pubs and at festivals.
