Border pipes and a fiddle, an accordion, a whistle, keys and guitar, all in a five piece. Spirit of Alba play contemporary folk that swings between quiet melody and full foot stomping racket, with the odd classic given a folk turn and a bit of singing along the way. They were a featured band at the 2021 Fairbridge Folk Festival and have built a following in Perth among people who like trad music played modern. Sets run 45 minutes with a 20 minute break. They'll need a full PA and, if you can manage it, a roof.
