Voice and accordion, nothing else, and it turns out that's plenty. SqueezeVox pairs vocalist Alfredo Malabello, an SBS recording artist, with accordionist and musical director Nick Bavarelli. The songbook runs through Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, the Italian American songbook, great Italian songs and pop opera. Alfredo has more than 30 years on stages in New York, Nashville, Tokyo, Milan, Rome and London, and has acted in the SBS series Carla Cametti PD as well as Underbelly and The Devil's Dust. Nick is a Mo award winner who has toured with Barry Gibb and played keyboards for Patrizio Buanne. Self-contained and portable, so it fits a dinner or a cocktail party without fuss.
