StateFX are a rock and pop covers band out of Newcastle, and the room decides which version of them turns up. Private functions and weddings get the singalong end of the list, clubs and pubs get the louder half. The catalogue reaches back to the Beatles, the Eagles, the Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin, runs through AC/DC, KISS, Bryan Adams and Lenny Kravitz, and lands on Bruno Mars, Katy Perry, Paramore and Lady Gaga. Corporate nights are covered too. Familiar songs, played by a band that knows how to lift a floor.
