About this act
Formed on the Gold Coast a couple of years back, STEELE are a four piece built around Marley Aylward on guitar, Thomas Haselam on drums, Anton Tait on vocals and Luke Thompson on bass. They call it hard rock, but the edges bleed into heavy metal, psychedelic rock and even funk, which is where the band's own sound lives. Their first EP, 526, arrived last year alongside a run of gigs across the Gold Coast, Brisbane and New South Wales. Loud, original and clearly happier on a stage than in a corner.
