Stella McIvor

Stella McIvor moved from the Gold Coast to Melbourne in 2022 and has settled into the scene properly since. She works across pop, pop-folk and indie-pop, with strong guitar playing and a soulful voice carrying it, and she's a one-woman act rather than a singer with a backing track. The sound is raw and elegant at once. Familiar songs get rearranged into something of her own, and the personality comes through as much as the playing.
