That is the spine of what Steve Coghill plays, and it is no accident: he grew up in Geelong in a musical family with Aussie rock in the air. Twenty years of guitar and singing behind him now, mostly in pubs and clubs where the audience knows every word and is happy to prove it. Overseas songs get a look in too, but the Australian classics are the heart of the set. Solo acoustic, straightforward, built for venues that want familiar songs done properly.
