Steve Newcomb

Steve Newcomb is an Australian pianist and composer whose writing and arranging sit in the space where jazz meets new music. The Sydney Morning Herald described it as music in a knotty zone where Thelonious Monk meets classical music, which is a fair description of what the trio does.
