Steve Panozzo has been drawing people for a living since 1984, and in 2024 the Stanley Awards named him Event Cartoonist of the Year. He works live at corporate events, weddings, conferences and on cruise ships, all over Australia and beyond it. A caricature takes about seven minutes a face, give or take, depending on how much detail the drawing needs and how awkward the spot he is working in happens to be. Guests take theirs home, which is more than most entertainment leaves behind. He needs good light, a small table and three chairs. Insured, and holds a current Working With Children check.
