Bowie, Prince, Queen and the Rolling Stones make up the bones of Steve Steel's set, with chilled ballads to balance the swampy, stomping side of it. He released an album of originals in late March 2026 called Let It Roll, which has picked up more than 12,000 streams. Solo is the standard booking. Add an upright bass and it becomes a duo that looks as good as it sounds in a winery or a beer garden, and a drummer makes it a trio. He can handle MC duties on the night too. Melbourne based, self-sufficient with PA and lights, and easy to work alongside a run sheet. He needs a power point and not much else.
